For this trip, RWMI admin will be reserving Rifle River’s beautiful group campsite. Reservation payments will be made directly to RWMI (via venmo), and start at just $10 per night (if no rental equipment is needed).

Thursday

4:30 PM: Member arrivals begin

5:00 PM: Start fire

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Admin will be walking around to assist with tent and gear set-up

6:00 PM - 10:30 PM: Socialize (everyone is responsible for supplying and cleaning up their own dinner)

10:30 PM: Fire goes out and quiet hours begin

Friday

8:00 AM: Fire is started and coffee-making begins

8:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Breakfast and social time (everyone is responsible for supplying and putting away their own food)

10:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Breakfast clean-up

10:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Socialize/free-time

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: ($10 per person): Backcountry cooking workshop (lunch included)

1:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Socialize/free-time

5:00 PM: Introductions and announcements followed by potluck preparations 

6:30 PM - 7:00 PM: Potluck clean-up

7:00 PM - 10:30 PM: Socialize/free-time

10:30 PM: Fire goes out and quiet hours begin

Saturday

8:00 AM: Fire is started and coffee-making begins

8:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Breakfast and social time (everyone is responsible for supplying and putting away their own food)

10:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Breakfast clean-up

10:30 AM: Leisurely nature ID hike (approx. 2 miles - very slow pace)

1:30 PM: 8-mile inclusive hike (all paces welcome!)

6:00 PM: Potluck preparation

7:30 PM - 8:00 PM: Potluck clean-up

8:00 PM: Sunset bike ride

8:00 PM - 10:30 PM: Fire goes out and quiet hours begin

Sunday:

8:00 AM: Fire is started and coffee-making begins

8:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Breakfast 

10:00 AM - 10:30 AM: Breakfast clean-up

10:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Pack up, final goodbyes
